Blood Drawing
Drawing blood is provided as a courtesy to my patients for routine blood work and anytime during a sick visit or referred consultation, if necessary.
Rapid Strep Tests and Throat Cultures
Rapid Strep tests as well as throat cultures are done in the office.
CBC
CBC (complete blood count) is available when necessary at the discretion of the physician. This is obtained either by a heal-stick on small babies or a venipuncture on older children. Results are obtained within minutes.
Repeat Newborn Screening Test
In case of home-birth or inadequate NB Screening test, the same can be repeated-performed at the office, using a heal stick with prior warming of the site.
Urine
Urine analysis and urine culture are also done in our office, as well as urine catheterizations when needed.
Urine Pregnancy Test
Office UCG can be performed at the patient's request. To confirm pregnancy and for additional tests, blood drawing and needed referral will be provided.
Additional Tests
We are equipped to do in-office vision and hearing screening for our patients.
